SEARCH BEACHES

ADVANTAGES

Taken together, the campsite Polari and BGW & APP Villas Rubin offer a large number of services that can also be used, with a certain charge, by those who are not paying for their accommodation in these locations. Thus you will find a great variety of sports and recreation grounds, restaurants, stores, showers, public toilets, etc.
Closeness of the nudism beach Cape Eva.

DISADVANTAGES

Crowded beaches in July and August
Distance from the parking place for those who are not guests of the campsite. You don't have to walk very far, about 5-10 minutes, but it can be quite annoying if you are carrying lots of things for a whole-day stay.

The beaches in Rovinj: POLARI-PUNTA EVA (nudist beach)
POLARI MAP

Polari Bay and Cape Eva (Punta Eva - naturism) are 3km away from the towncenter, located within the campsite Polari, and they stretch as far as 2 km to the south of BGW & APP Villas Rubin.
What dominates is the typical Mediterranean vegetation: conifers and old cultivated olive-groves among which there are camping plots.

For the most part the coast in this area is stony and some beaches are paved with cobble stones in order to make the access to the sea easier.

On the northern side of Polari Bay, along the border with Villas Rubin, a pebble beach is located which is very suitable for children. Next to the beach, a playground has been set up with swings, seesaws and a slide, and there is also a cultivated meadow where children can play ball or frisbee, etc. Although not located in Polari, but in Villas Rubin, you will find a restaurant closeby, as well as the Wind Surf Center «Nevera Sport» and a complex of sports grounds (for further information on services and prices, see Villas Rubin)

Polari Bay

When going down to the southern part of Polari Bay, you will come to a little quay and a little port which is available for use for guests of the campsite. In this part the coast is stony and it's not easy to go into the water or to find a place for a sunbath. Trailers are parked close to the shore and crafts are anchored there, so that they can be quite disturbing for a pleasant swim in the sea. This part has two showers.

Olea europeae

After Polari Bay there is Cape Eve (Punta Eva), a nudism beach which streches as far as to the end of the campsite. Punta Eva is not a strict nudist beach, since it isn't isolated from the other parts of the campsite so that it might happen that people in bathing costumes pass by or swim there. We suggest that these people look for another place for swimming in order to preserve the nudist intimacy.
